The Carolina Safari Tour company is headquartered in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Founded in 1994 by a native naturalist, historian and magazine photographer and a Harvard University writer and naturalist, the company has taken thousands of visitors (and locals) individually and in groups to discover the fascinating history and magnificent wildlife and nature of the distinct lowcountry area.

Fodor's Guide, Frommer's and Michelin Guide books and Disney Family Fun Book have also included positive reviews of the Carolina Safari. The Carolina Safari is a top rated attraction on Yahoo travel and is included in literally hundreds of suggestions and reviews for travel and tours in the Myrtle Beach area on the internet.

 

The Carolina Safari Jeep Tours are noted on the South Carolina Heritage Trail brochure for including African-American heritage (Gullah history) on the itinerary. The jeep tours are also mentioned in the official South Carolina Tourism guide and web page.
