The model of the Mayflower you'll find in ourupper deck was a star in the 1952 film Plymouth
Adventure. Information on the Mayflower can be
found in practically every American history book
used today. For many it represents the idea of
freedom of religion and the freedom found here in America.
Of course, since the model was originally built in the early 50's, Jimmy did not do
original work, though he did replace all the original rigging. There are over 3500 feet of line (rope) and to the best of our knowledge and research has been rigged for the year 1620. This massive model is 1/3 the size of the real Mayflower and made of wood.
